Wisconsin Underwater Archeology & Maritime History Conference

The 11th Annual Wisconsin Underwater Archeology and Maritime History Conference will once again bring together Great Lakes archeologists, maritime historians, sport divers, shipping buffs and hobyists for a full day of seminars on maritime history and underwater archeology in Wisconsin waters and beyond.


Previous Conferences have been held in Manitowoc and Milwaukee, WI.
The 2013 WUAA conference was held in Discovery World's beautiful Digital Theater. Discovery World, home of the S/V Denis Sullivan (Wisconsin's Flagship), is a premeir experimential museum with maritime and technology-based exhibits, including the Reiman Aquarium.

Annual Ghost Ships Festival - Great Lakes Shipwreck Research Foundation, Inc.
This annual event has been held for 12 years, currently at the Wyndham Hotel & Convention Center, Milwaukee, WI.
The Ghost Ships Festival is Wisconsin's largest trade show devoted to Scuba Diving and Great Lakes Maritime History. Exhibits, workshops, and presentations cover just about every aspect of Great Lakes maritime history and scuba diving. You can listen to and interact with leading dive industry professionals, extreme explorers, maritime historians, and Great Lakes authors!
